Arsalan has 9+ years of experience in the ICT industry. His specialties include BPM, SOA, PaaS, SaaS, BAM, EAI, account/project management, software/enterprise architecture and software services including consulting, outsourcing and offshore incubation. He is recently listed in 2009 Edition of Marquis “Who’s Who in the World” as one of the world’s foremost achievers in his field and in "Top 100 Professionals 2009" by International Biographical Centre (IBC), Cambridge, England.

 

He is engaged with Cordys and responsible for Pre Sales, Solution Architecture and Consulting for the Central European region. Before that he worked as a Consultant for BeOne Group Germany. As part of various initiatives, he managed/designed solutions and provided strategy/technology consultancy to Rohde & Schwarz, Continental Teves, BenQ Mobile, Germanischer Lloyd, and Airbus addressing their key needs and challenges. Earlier, he served as an Engineering Manager at Clickmarks Inc., USA, with varied responsibilities including project management, specifications development and architecting software of the state-of-art Clickmarks i-Framework based on patented Presentation Level Integration (PLI ™) technology for customers like Plumtree, Sun Microsystems, Unisys, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone. He started his career as a (Sr.) Software Engineer at Knowledge Management (Pvt.) Ltd. (former Precience Inc.). He also served NED University as a visiting faculty member and as a researcher at Distributed & Mobile Computing Lab of Ajou University, South Korea on a scholarship program from Korean Science & Education Foundation (KOSEF).

He is the founder and present advisor of International .NET Association (INETA) in Pakistan and served as the first Country Leader. Moreover, he served as the Secretary of IEEE Karachi Section and also chaired the Students Activities Committee (SAC) for several years. He provided his services as Secretary & Treasurer to the IEEE Computer Society, Karachi Chapter. He is a member of ACM and has a rich experience in both organizing and speaking at various INETA workshops and IEEE conferences. He is also the recipient of “2002 Section GOLD Leadership Recognition” award by IEEE Regional Activities Board of Region-10.

 

Arsalan did his graduation in Computer Systems Engineering from the NED University of Engineering & Technology and was the gold medalist of his batch. He did his Masters with distinction (German: 1.2/Excellent, ECTS: A+) in Information & Communication Systems from Hamburg University of Technology. He secured a scholarship for a two year stint through the “DAAD-Siemens Program for Asia 21st Century”.
